My VWD Lottery Experience.

I saw an article in The Sun newspaper today while I waited for my take-away.
It seems Harry is part of syndicate with his friends and pays 2 pounds per week and says he’ll give his winnings to charity if he scoops the jackpot.

A prince, with all his money still knows the power of a syndicate I would so love to sign up a royal family member. I could put a “by appointment to HRH the Queen” on all my flyers!

I got delivery of the ink cartridges this morning and put them straight to work on 100.
I delivered them all, I usually pay particular attention to “no junk mail” signs as one time I went to walk up the path of a house and saw the sign so I turned around and started to walk out, the owner was doing gardening in the front lawn, “what’s that?” she said, “oh, I saw the sign and didn’t want to bother you, it’s for my own business“…. and so on

Today though, I missed someone’s sign and put a leaflet through the door, by the time I was out of the gate there was an old woman furiously running down the path after me with the leaflet in her hand! I put on my best humble hat and said “madam I am so sorry, I missed the sign, usually they’re on the door. I’ll never bother you again, I’m so sorry to trouble you”, she looked shocked at being talked to so politely and said ,”ok, no problem then” and walked back in with the leaflet!

You know Anthony Robbins? I listened to one of his seminars on my PDA as I walked, cheesy, american and totally brilliant! I loved it, some real home truths in there. I’ll post a review when I finish it, it’s called Unlimited Power, I’ve had it a long time and this is the first time I’ve had an opportunity to listen to it properly. He’s an inspiring character, I’m not about to subscribe to his whole series but I am going to use some of his lines and questions in my own presentations. One gem is (I’m paraphrasing) “the first step towards success is defining exactly what it is that you want”, this translates to something I have said myself : “(about writing down goals and what you want) if you can’t be bothered to spend 10 minutes writing down what you want, how the hell are you going to be bothered to go out and get it?”.

A little confrontational but, hey that’s me (and what you gonna do about it huh?, come on then… rarrrrr!)

I finished off the last of my printed flyers today, I have to get more ink for the printer and I turned to my old favourite InkSpot, you know you can get a colour compatible Epson cartridge for £1.99 ? amazing bargain!

They should arrive by tomorrow, time to lube up the printer….

A new player joined from Slovenia today. Welcome Sebastijan !.

Normally, Slovenia wouldn’t be allowed to enter a UK lottery because they don’t live here but because VWD is UK based company, they buy the tickets. They pick up the winnings and they divide it equally among the syndicate (44 in a UK, 36 in the Euro) and then send it out automatically, no need to worry about legal arguments with a self made syndicate, no forgetting to buy tickets or check them. sweet.

What a great way to assimilate more affiliates, give them the Borg workover!

I like to play with words to keep me up-beat, today was a nice day.
100 leaflets out, 50 cards and a chat with 2 new people about the whole business, more posts at VWDForum and a great guy called Charles from Bend it like a Banana is helping me by having a go at designing a new template for this blog, visit his site, great layout and he’s a funny guy!.

I made a new list today and some revisions on my goals (I’ve put big ticks next to my achieved goals and now I need to think of some more).
