Team training is afoot, this week will see the first of the regular training sessions for my downline and extended downline.
VWD’s conference room is going through an overhaul and is due for a re-release this month, hopefully it will be the all bells and whistles version so it’ll save me some time and trouble sourcing a decent online facility. I am trialling out a way to have voice over IP combined with streaming desktop video but I think something that is simple for all to use will be more feasible.

I tried the survey thing today, I managed to get a couple addresses and a fair amount of responses to the best headline. I’ll do some more tomorrow and collect some more data that I can share on Friday.

And….I made a new style landing page site ready to be packaged and used for my downline. Everyone goes on about how they want one but don’t have the hax0r skillz to do it so I thought I’d knock one up and ta-daaa. Here’s a peak at the style of it, just using this one as a capture page for the tower advert I have just arranged with the Fat Boy Network.

Grr, I logged on to count the new subscribers to my various newsletters and found that I couldn’t log on.
It seems the whole of the database was dropped into the ether. oh crap. Over 30,000 words that I have typed last week. All the double opt-in subscribers gone. oh bugger. I am trialling aweber so the subscriptions are still active, I’ll see how they go at 19.95 a month.

The good news is that I have decided on the date of the team event, it’s going to be on the 25th March somewhere up north. I haven’t got an exact location yet but that will be set soon. I have a frappr map where my active affiliates have put their location (if you’re in my downline, then get on there!) so I can find a place that is convenient to all.

Weekly training calls, I want to do these on Fridays at 7pm GMT using the chat_room. I’ve had some test runs and it seems good enough to have enough members in with a few guest speakers that everyone can hear. I’ll be playing audio training through it every weekday this week between 3pm and 4pm GMT so people wanting to come on the training call can test it out before the night to check they can hear the audio. VWD’s conference room will be released this month (so says the website) so hopefully it will have all the features needed for online training.

I did 30 calls yesterday and got a fairly good response, it’s really upped my confidence and I find I am looking for people to phone now! To think I never used to like the phone, I blame Robby.

Had a great day today! I spent a while calling prospects with my new affiliate on a 3 way call. Oh it’s so much easier to call someone when you have someone else on the line with you, even if they don’t talk. We went through quite a few and refined our script a little and it was great having a critique on how I did. I always sound different to myself you see!

I just checked and my pagerank for this site has gone up to 5 !!! great stuff. (which has mysteriously disappeared after 1 day, it still says 5 here) aha, I found out why, it’s because one of the buttons on the toolbar isn’t loading. The PR comes up after the page has fully loaded and the page isn’t loading completely because of the slow remotely hosted button. I think I’ll change the buttons to local now.

My main site has a page rank of 4 too so I’m quite pleased with google for now (even my old unused blog went up to 3), if only I would go back up to the top of the listings for searches of euromillions, I was up there for a few weeks on most search engines for that keyword but I think google gives you good search placement when you have a new blog and then you suddenly appear way down on page 72. Luckily, for some search terms my blog listing in some of the blog top sites comes up as number 2 or 3 so it just requires the user to make one more click.

I did a deal with a traffic exchange [link] so my page gets shown as the first page anyone see’s when they log in. I have got it for a week, it started last night about 12 hours ago and it’s already had over 600 hits! 2 grab a grand signups and a couple to my learn to earn series. There was 15 visitors online at the same time tonight.

OK time for bed, I’ve got another call tomorrow at 10am (it’s 3am now) but I’m ready for it seeing as tonight’s mentoring_for_free call was so useful, I added some stuff to my color chart like “do the focus story” on the blue and “analysis paralysis” to the green, I also added “the coffee story” to the yellow too. I haven’t spoken to many reds so I haven’t put anything extra on that yet (maybe a picture of Sir Alan Sugar?).

I have added a new live support button to the toolbar, when I am at my pc I can log into a page and it shows that I am online here, if someone clicks the button they are able to “ring” my pc and start a simple text chat when I answer (has to be within 30 seconds or it takes a message).
It’s free too! here’s the button…

I’ve also sent a group email to all affiliates telling them about the newsletter I will be sending out with news on the conference and 3 way calls along with some instructions on how to set up their own newsletter. It’s a good way to ask questions about what sort of incentive prizes would be welcome and it’s a great way to stay in touch.

bloody hell, it takes ages to write a series of 7 emails you know! I have to keep going back and re-editing. The hardest bit is making the messages universal so I can provide a pack to affiliates with instructions on how to setup their own. nearly there though.

I’m feeling great recently and I have had some really positive results to my new phone technique, gawd bless Michael Dlouhy and Tom big al Schreiter. [link]. I am definitely setting up a weekly training session for the colors method, it’s one of the most useful things I have learnt for this business and everyone in my downline deserves to know it.

Looks like I’ll be learning more this week with my new affiliate, my online skills combined with his offline experience will turn heads.
We’ll be doing some 3 way calls with a lot of prospects, wicked! It’s great working closely with someone who I can teach and learn from, we’ll be able to take notes of what we are doing and formulate a rock solid plan for his new affiliates and refine it until it’s applicable to all new members then put it into a binder of instructions. That’s my plan and I want to get it together and on paper before June this year. I should be earning some serious wonga by then
