I ordered some free cards from Vistaprint to go with my “talk to more people” initiative. My PC will be bye bye while I move so I have to move to more offline methods while I’m in transit. I’ve used vistaprint before but just for business cards, though recently I have been using them as my “do you play the lottery” cards.

So far it’s been good to hand out, I’ve got 2 different versions. one with my name for personal contact and one without for leaving in phone boxes and such. They only cost a few quid for delivery and you get 250 for free! Choose the slowest postal method and you’ll have them after a week and pay less than 4 squids!

You can even download an e-version that you can use in your email signatures, watch out for their money off offer in their next email and you can get a very cheap rubber stamp to use on flyers. sorted

I’m due to move house soon so things are a bit hectic and much is being packed ready to be transported. Normally, this would affect training a little because it’s so much harder to find a compatible spot to talk with someone on the phone.

Now, as an experiment I am using our team forum to train our latest affiliate Jackie. I’ll set a task and give information and she will come along, read it and then complete the task. Once she has responded to the forum message then I can go on with another task. simple.

What I like best about it is, it can be done from anywhere. I can be at work, at an internet cafe or even at a friends house and I can still keep on track with the training. Another great thing about it is everyone can see how it’s going. Other people in the forum can see what happens with new affiliates, what sorts of questions get asked and so on, who knows? it might even spur a couple of lurkers to try some of the things!
