I just spent a while adjusting the elottery affiliate course content so it can use peoples first name, I must have put a :1% instead of a :2% in the text when I made them and it was using the wrong value so it wasn’t outputting the first name of the subscriber. doh!

I’ve added a new section to the training pages on the portal for email templates, I get asked all the time what to send new players and affiliates so I decided to put them all online. There’s 3 up for now and more will be added later.

Empire Hosting has been updated with a new bank of .co.uk domains so combined with the new domain robot script it’s ready to roll out on autobuy. Before, I had to manually create an activate each hosting account which was ok when it was for commercial designs because I was making the sale for the web creation and not just hosting but now, I have opened up the hosting with a substantial discount for VWD members, now they just have to choose their free domain name and select which hosting they want and it’ll all go through automatically when the payment has been sent.

If you ever want to get around to adding some php to your training videos page then make sure you have a conference to prepare for!

Instead of preparing my slides for tonights conference I got distracted and decided to change the code on my training videos page so that it provides a default image if there isn’t one and adds an image to the adverts. I’ve also added an auto filing description too so all in all, I am pretty pleased with my pointy head even though I can’t help but think it would have been easier using a MySQL database query, guess I’ll just have to learn how to do them then!
