VWD e-lottery affiliate making a full time income from the UK and Euromillions lotteries. Lotto Results and progress here.
I’ve been working a full time shift pattern this week as a favour to someone, I did so well that I’ve been ‘invited’ to do more. gulp. I was quite happy doing the lottery business full time, I could spend the whole day with my nose deep in code or spend a longer than necessary time on designing a simple page and I was luvvin it!.
Last week I got to realise what nearly everyone in my downline has to go through to promote their business AND fit in all the work and play that is part of their normal life. It’s not too hard but I can see why some do find it hard to slot in their promotional efforts. It’s actually been an eye opening experience!
It’s not the “not got time” part that is a problem because a little bit of organisation and scheduling can take care of that, it’s the “do this or watch that?” part that is something I know more about. Spend a whole week working shifts or a full 9-6 environment and later when I get home it’s a little harder to ‘give up’ my personal time especially when there’s a partner arranging a night out to a restaurant or a friend that wants me to ‘just pop around’ to fix his PC for half an hour (let alone the hour either side where I have to travel through London to get there and back) so now I know again!
It’s all been OK though, it’s re-confirmed to me that you actually CAN build a business at home around a full time job, it just needs a little more organisation and scheduling. Making a plan will make all the difference and it’s something I need to be aware of when I talk to new affiliates.
I know your time is precious everyone but so is your future, time invested now when Eastenders is on or going to the pub an hour later can seriously affect the future. Sheesh, if two years ago someone had said to me, “work an extra hour a day for the next year and a half and I’ll give you a full time income on top of what you’re already earning” then I wouldn’t have believed them! that’s what’s happened though and now I know for a fact that the extra hour here and there is worth it.
