1 jackpot winner of 54,000,000 UKP (over 100M USD). Lucky gett!! I won twice though, my first was just a 1 number match and the other I don’t know yet but I do know it has the number 50 in it. Oooooh, the excitement!!
I did some excellent training with Jatin and Jon Roberts, first we phoned Jatin’s pending application contact and it turns out he had a card payment problem so will be joining as soon as he contacts admin. Something that wouldn’t have been sorted out over email so a good reason to call your pendings!!
Me and JR spent over an hour doing calls to our new leads captures and they went really really well, JR even did some himself and did really well with the script we have been using. While we were doing the training, I had a call from someone who had seen one of my lead capture pages and requested more information, now he’s an affiliate member. Out of the 7 calls we did together, 5 requested more information and were happy to have a follow up call and the other 2 weren’t in!. awesome, masterminding and working together.
I’ve also spent an inordinate amount of time designing and coding The Empire Group portal. I’ve added a public and private section so there is at least a fair amount of information for the casual browser (lawd knows how big the PR for the domain name will jump next time Google do their sweep - find out how by being in The Empire Group!) sorry, shameless plug!.
There is now an autoresponder, passworded forum, downloads, training call recordings, templates for online and offline, a fully integrated audio/video/push html/remote desktop/application sharing training room for members only and well, so much more it’s making me shake to think about it.
The portal should go live on the 5th April, just in time to release the exciting new product and make a bundle!!
(I was having dreams all night about passwords and htaccess, my pillow must have got stuck on the headboard and it filtered into my dream, in it I was trying to change the htaccess for my bed domain so that when I tried to access the pillow it would point me to the other pillow. LOL 
)
Oh so many plans are coming to fruition now, follow up, support, training, leading by example. The past 6 months have been spent building to this point and it’s all worth it. Like Gigi says, “right now, you are reaping what you’ve been sowing” and it’s so right.
Richard has been having a great week, right now he is getting the results of all his hard work when he started. All the flyers, the posters, the leads - everything and it can only get better because he never gave up and continues to have a daily method of operation. Good work Rich! (your shortened name will become so much more apt this year!)
Strangeness at sea… I had over 5000 unique hits over a couple of days but my Google listings have dropped. How strange, something like this happened before and I started to panic but then after a few weeks, I went straight back in at number 1 and 2 and my PR jumped. Let’s see what happens this time….

How prospects REALLY join — proof.
Last year I spoke at one of the sessions on the annual MLM Cruise. About 40 people were in this session.
I asked the question:
“How were you introduced to network marketing?”
I gave them some choices:
A. Relative or friend.
B. Newspaper advertising.
C. A mailing.
D. An audio cassette or CD.
E. At a trade show.
F. Radio advertising.
G. The Internet.
H. By referral.
I. By a stranger at a chance encounter.
J. Saw a flyer.
Ten choices . . . 40 people. Well, these were not ordinary people, these were leaders.
So what would you guess? How many of these leaders were sponsored in each category? Do you think more were introduced to network marketing by advertising? More by relatives and friends? More by the Internet?
Think about this for a moment.
What do you think is the very top category or categories?
How do you think most of the 40 leaders were introduced to network marketing?
. . . The answer might surprise you.
. . . And the answer might change how you go about
finding new prospects.
So . . . are you ready for the answers?
Here are the results:
36 - Relative or friend.
2 - The Internet.

Well, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see a pattern here. Even in the age of the Internet, only 2 out of 40 leaders were sponsored because of an email campaign, banner ads, a cool web page, etc.
By the way, just so you don’t think that I am prejudiced about the results, I was the one leader who was sponsored by newspaper advertising. I answered a newspaper ad back in 1972.
I am not saying that these other methods don’t work.
They do work.
I am saying that if we want to go fishing, maybe we should go to where the fish are. If 90% (36 out of 40 leaders) are sponsored by a relative or friend, then why do we spend 90% of our time trying to find leaders through these other methods?
I know many distributors who try calling cold leads, buy lists for autoresponders, run newspaper ads, pass out flyers and they still haven’t contacted their warm market. Crazy, isn’t it?
It’s like trying to go shopping by driving down a deserted country road. It makes more sense to go shopping in a shopping mall.
So, if you have some new distributors who are struggling with these cold market techniques, show them this survey.
Show them that they are nine times more likely to find a leader with relatives and friends than all of the other methods combined!
